Oceania Cruises is introducing new ideas in mixology with the introduction of its newest ship, Oceania Vista. The 1,200-passender ship, scheduled to make its debut in May 2023, will include an expanded beverage program.
The mixology program will highlight contemporary trends seen at land-based bars and resorts.
“We’re really bringing some of the modern flair you see in the beverage world, the cocktail world, to our brand,” said Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania. “It’s really rounding out the complete culinary experience.”
Guests onboard the Vista will have the opportunity to sample drinks inspired by the latest cocktail-crafting trends and techniques – from drinks topped by flavored mist bubbles to Negronis aged in wooden barrels.
New bar menus, mixology experiences and cocktail programs will reflect the same fresh perspective as Oceania’s “The Finest Cuisine at Sea,” according to Oceania.
Cocktail and Mixology Experiences
A few of the exciting new cocktail and mixology experiences that are debuting on Vista, include:
The Macallan Chocolate Pairing
Indulge with a curated selection of specialty chocolates paired with The Macallan Quest Collection. This pairing opens the door to the many flavors the Quest Collection has to offer – including The Macallan Lumina & Chocolate Truffles with fruit, The Macallan Terra & White Chocolate, and The Macallan Enigma & Dark Chocolate.

Oceania’s signature bar, Martinis, is refreshing its namesake cocktail with a new spirits selection, Mermaid Gin and Vodka. A new Hollywood collection includes a variety of drinks inspired by famous Hollywood actors – such as the Bardot Martini, Sir Connery Martini, Blue Eyes Sinatra Martini and Monroe Martini.
Casino Mixology Bar
With a special focus on the art of the cocktail, Oceania features crafted ingredients, syrups, reductions and bitters for this unique bar as well as offering a wide selection of bourbons and rye. Cocktails at this bar also call on the amazing “Flavor Blaster Gun,” a unique bar tool that creates spectacular vapor-filled bubbles with aromatic flavors.
The Ultimate Bloody Mary Bar
The popularity of the Bloody Mary has skyrocketed in recent years and Oceania has crafted its own unique experience. This unique bar will be hosted during lunch in Terrace Café with vibrant vegetables, ingredients and unique garnishes such as spicy shrimp, stuffed olives and dried bacon. There will be several custom-made options to choose from, in addition to individually-crafted ones.
