Billed as one of the most strikingly beautiful and as excitingly innovative as any Seabourn has ever debuted, the 600-passenger Seabourn Encore is currently under construction at a shipyard in Marghera, Italy. It is scheduled to debut in December 2016.
The new ship will have its inaugural voyage in January 2017 with a 10-day Gems of the Java Sea voyage from Singapore to Benoa, Bali, Indonesia.
Seabourn Encore will expand and build on the line’s award-winning and highly acclaimed Odyssey-class ships, but at 40,350 tons will be about 26% larger. It will feature an additional deck and new expanded public areas. It will hold 600 passengers, based on double occupancy, and every suite will have a private veranda.
The Seabourn Encore will continue the Odyssey-class tradition of having a guest-to-staff ratio of almost one-to-one.
Seabourn enlisted the participation of master designer Adam D. Tihany, recognized as one of the preeminent designers in the world, to create the modern luxury design. Under Tihany’s guidance, Seabourn Encore will offer ultra-elegant, contemporary spaces, including an airy main dining room and a version of the club-like social hub called Seabourn Square found on other Seabourn ships.
The maiden season of Seabourn Encore, beginning in December 2016, is now on sale. It will sail the waters of India, Arabia, Asia, Australia, and the Mediterranean. Please let us know if you are interested in being one of the first to experience Seabourn’s newest luxury class ship.
