Itinerary at a Glance

DAY 1: Arrive in Cape Town, South Africa

After a warm welcome upon your arrival in Cape Town, South Africa’s “Mother City,” you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure.

DAY 2: Cape Town

Explore the stunning Cape Peninsula. Drive past the sparkling beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton and wind your way along legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive to the rocky seascapes of the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Continue along the coast to the delightful penguin colony at Boulders Beach. 

DAY 3: Cape Town

Today, explore the nearby winelands. Learn about the process of winemaking, from grape to goblet. Visit the Paarl valley and the picturesque village of Franschhoek, the gourmet capital of the Cape. Take a stroll through historic Stellenbosch with its Cape Dutch architecture.

DAY 4: Cape Town

Meet the people empowering their local communities through grassroots development programs. Visit an urban garden or a literacy workshop. In the evening, enjoy a vibrant and authentic African culinary experience.

DAY 5: Cape Town – Kruger Private Reserve

After a couple of short flights, you begin your safari adventure within a private reserve bordering the famous Kruger National Park, home to an abundance of wildlife. Soak up the tranquility of the African bush before embarking on your late afternoon game drive.

DAY 6: Kruger Private Reserve

Meet your expert safari ranger and hop aboard an open safari vehicle for a thrilling game drive. Photograph away as you spot the Big Five and other wildlife found on the reserve. On your late afternoon drive, pause for a sundowner as the sun dips below the horizon.

DAY 7: Kruger Private Reserve

With your skilled ranger, explore the rare sights and wonders of the bush during your game viewing activities today. Take a guided walk through the bush or arrange for a candle-lit alfresco dinner as the Southern Cross begins to twinkle.

DAY 8: Kruger Private Reserve – Johannesburg

Set out early on your final safari in search of those hard-to-spot cheetahs and the Big Five. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast and relax until you transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, you are transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

DAY 9: Johannesburg – Victoria Falls

Fly to Victoria Falls, hailed as one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders. Later this afternoon, sail upstream on a sunset dinner cruise. As the sun sets, be ready to see hippos cavorting in the river or elephants as they make their way to the riverbank for their last drink before settling down for the night.

DAY 10: Victoria Falls

Keep an eye out for rainbows as you walk the misty rain forest trails of Victoria Falls. Then take a helicopter flight and witness the sheer size and grandeur of the Falls from above. 

DAY 11: Victoria Falls – Johannesburg

After a delicious farewell breakfast, you are transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight back to Johannesburg. You may be leaving Africa behind, but you’ll return home with memories that will last forever.
