Good Morning from the Regent Seven Seas Explorer, the newest and most luxurious ship in the world according to Regent. We’re sailing with other travel professionals and media on a 5 night preview itinerary that embarked in Barcelona yesterday. Our upcoming ports are Toulon, France; Olbia, Italy; St. Tropaz, France and Monte Carlo, Monaco. Today is our only day at sea, and it’s packed full of meetings, seminars, stateroom inspections and of course VIP cocktail parties.
Our morning starts with an informative “Town Hall” question & answer with Frank Del Rio, President and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings; Jason Montague, President and COO of Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Randall Soy, EVP Sales and Marketing. In the afternoon, each of the suite categories are open and available for inspection. From the ultra-luxurious, nearly 4000 square feet Regent Suite to the equally as comfortable Concierge Suites, the accommodations onboard Explorer are beautiful, well laid-out, and very comfortable. These stateroom inspections typically offer very little in terms of prime photography opportunities, but here are a few pictures we snapped along the way. By far a favorite is the Master Suite with it’s modern, contemporary look and huge, aft facing decks. Amazing!
