Regent Building Sister Ship to Seven Seas Explorer

Regent Seven Seas ExplorerRegent Seven Seas Cruises has announced that Fincantieri of Italy will construct a sister ship to Seven Seas Explorer, scheduled for delivery in 2020.

Seven Seas Explorer is currently under construction and is slated to make its debut in July 2016.

The new Explorer-class vessel will retain many of the features and amenities of Seven Seas Explorer. Guests will experience exquisite gourmet dining, plush lounges and spacious accommodation including a rendition of the Regent Suite, a new class of suite, which will debut on the Explorer.

The 3,875 square foot, two-bedroom suite offers an expansive living space and a beam-to-beam private outdoor balcony. The suite also has an in-suite spa retreat with personal sauna, steam room, relaxation loungers and a spa treatment area where guests will enjoy complimentary, unlimited treatments from Canyon Ranch.

“The extraordinary demand generated by Seven Seas Explorer, including record-breaking booking volumes, reinforced our decision to expand our fleet with an additional ship that mirrors the same incredibly high standards of luxury,” said Jason Montague, president and chief operating officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Expanded details for the new ship will be announced at a later date.
