In January, Celebrity Millennium underwent a dramatic transformation as part of Celebrity Cruises’ extensive fleet upgrade. The transformation includes redesigned staterooms and suites; the addition of The Retreat Sundeck and Lounge for Suite Class guests, reimagined restaurants, bars, and lounges; and an upgraded spa, casino, and designer boutiques.
The Celebrity Millennium is ready to revolutionize modern travel.
The bow-to-stern transformation involved over 35 days of intense work by engineers, architects, artisans, designers, contractors, shipyard employees and the entire Celebrity team.
“This is such an exciting moment for us as we finally get to share the new Celebrity Millennium with the world,” Celebrity Cruises CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo said.
The staterooms and suites received major enhancements, such as refreshed suite design and finishes, and new stateroom designs. Suite Class guests will enjoy exclusive access to The Retreat Sundeck and The Retreat Lounge, as well as the chic Luminae Restaurant.
The ship features 30 new staterooms, with 13 new AquaClass Staterooms, seven new Ocean View Staterooms and 10 new Inside Staterooms.
The reimagined restaurants and lounges on Celebrity Millennium include the Oceanview Cafe, the Main Restaurant, the Sunset Bar and the Rendezvous Lounge.
The transformation of the Celebrity Millennium is part of The Celebrity Revolution, which includes more than $500 million in upgrades during the cruise line’s most significant fleet-wide modernization ever.
Seven additional Celebrity Cruises ships will be modernized by 2023.
