Celebrity Cruises is broadening its immersive vacations by offering a selection of Signature Event Sailings on 2015-16 cruises.
Signature Event Sailings are specially designed shore excursions, offering guests an opportunity to experience iconic global events and celebrations. Guests will have inside access into activities and events from a VIP vantage point. To further enhance the Signature Event Sailings, Celebrity will offer onboard activities, speakers, and shows to coincide with the event.
Signature Event Sailings for 2015-16
Anzac Day – Guests of this signature event will visit the battlefields of Gallipoli during the 100th Anniversary of Anzac Day in Turkey and tour the Gallipoli Peninsula. Onboard, author and historian Peter Donovan will give a presentation. Celebrity Constellation, 12 nights, departs 4/22/15.
Cannes Film Festival – Guests will attend an exclusive VIP rooftop celebration during the Cannes Film Festival complete with live French music, cocktails, and a view of the harbor. Onboard, Celebrity will host a film festival of past Cannes winners. Celebrity Equinox, 10 nights, departs 5/11/15.
Redentore Festival – Guests will visit Venice during the historic Redentore Festival. Onboard, guests can watch the fireworks display, decorated boats in Saint Mark’s basin, and enjoy a masquerade ball held pool-side. Celebrity Constellation, 14 nights, departs 7/5/15.
The British Open – Guests will enjoy such VIP experiences as a round of golf on three different courses, walking the Old Course, and entry at the championship in St. Andrews. Onboard, there will be hosted events by a golf pro. Celebrity Silhouette, 12 nights, 7/15/15.
Carnival in Rio de Janeiro – Guests will visit the Sambadrome of Rio in costume and attend the Samba Parade with grandstand or VIP seating. Onboard, professional samba dancers teach guests the Brazilian dance at a Latin-themed celebration. Celebrity Infinity, 14 nights, departs 1/31/16.
Chinese New Year – Guests will visit Hong Kong during Chinese New Year and explore the Wong Tai Sin Temple and Kowloon Walled City Park, and visit the Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree. Onboard, to celebrate the Year of the Monkey, there will be live performances by Shaolin Monks and guests can take Tai Chi lessons. Celebrity Millennium, 14 nights, departs 1/31/16.
