As part of the Reimagine Azamara initiative, Azamara Club Cruises’ two ships, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest, will be completely transformed with major updates from bow to stern. And that includes upgrades to the dining and entertainment areas.
The Patio, the guest-favorite outdoor area formerly known as the Pool Grill, will be completely transformed into a sit-down al fresco dining experience in the evening. A self-serve frozen yogurt area, new lighting, and fans will add modern elements to the refreshed look.
Windows Café will be reinvigorated with a contemporary and refined feel with more seating and flexible place settings. You’ll be able to enjoy your meal while watching the sun set in the updated outdoor seating area and Sunset Bar.
Discoveries Restaurant and Bar is the center of Azamara’s elegant evening dining scene. It will take on a warm and inviting atmosphere with new décor, furniture, and lighting.
The Living Room (formerly Looking Glass) will be transformed into a fresh, vibrant space for relaxing and listening to live music. Enjoy a bite to eat at the Wine & Tapas bar, featuring an impressive selection of international wines with full wine-pouring service.
By day, listen to a fascinating speaker or cooking class, meet some friends for cards or bridge, or indulge in some fine specialty teas, cookies and other sweets and snacks. By late afternoon, consult the sommelier for the perfect wine or champagne to pair with the eclectic and delicious Spanish tapas. After dark, this is the place to be for cognac, cocktails and dancing.
The Casino will feature new flat-screen TVs, new slot machines and more comfy seating.
The Cabaret Bar will continue to showcase live music and entertainment with a revitalized look and new dance floor.
Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest will undergo these transformations in early 2016. Throughout both ships, furnishings, lighting, and flooring will be redone with an updated color palette and a mix of modern and contemporary elements. Each ship will be transformed with an eye toward a modern design inspired by the remarkable destinations they visit.
