DAY 1: Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya
After a warm welcome, you’ll be driven to your exclusive boutique hotel, set in a private giraffe sanctuary within Nairobi. (D)
DAY 2: Nairobi
Share your breakfast with the resident Rothschild giraffe, as they pop their long necks through the windows in search of a treat. From encounters with the world’s tallest mammal to exploring local culture, there’s plenty to keep you entertained, both within the manor’s grounds and in the local area. (B, L, D)
DAY 3: Nairobi / Maasai Mora
Fly to the fabulous Maasai Mara. Meet your ranger and take off on an afternoon drive. It is the presence of the Big Five and a huge supporting cast of wildlife that makes this safari memorable. Return to camp for sundowners and a sumptuous dinner (B, L, D)
DAY 4: Maasai Mara
Every day in the Masai Mara is different, with a never-ending showcase of untamed nature. Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing in open safari vehicles. (B, L, D)
DAY 5: Maasai Mara
Get close to nature on a guided walk with your ranger and Maasai spotter. Learn about pangolin protection, big cat monitoring and how the camp supports a team of rhino rangers. (B, L, D)
DAY 6: Maasai Mara / Serengeti
After breakfast continue by air to Tanzania’s great Serengeti, where lions stroll, leopards lounge and giraffes, gazelles and Zebra keep a watchful eye on their surroundings. (B, L, D)
DAY 7: Serengeti
Explore the open plains of the Serengeti wilderness on early morning and late afternoon private game drives. Return to camp for a Bushcraft Challenge to learn about local survival skills, traditions and flora and fauna. Then enjoy an evening of good food and conversation.(B, L, D)
DAY 8: Serengeti/Zanzibar
Today you will fly off to the spice island of Zanzibar. The turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean and fragrant tropical air awaits your arrival. (B, D)
DAY 9: Zanzibar
The day is at leisure, to relax and enjoy the resort’s pool and spa facilities. Take a private tour through Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and browse the bustling markets. Sail to Prison Island on a traditional wooden dhow. (B, D)
DAY 10: Zanzibar
Enjoy another day at leisure on this magical island, where the fusion of Arab, African and European cultures has created a colorful tapestry of architecture and heritage. (B, D)
