Celebrity Flora, the first ship designed exclusively for the Galapagos Islands, introduced another enticing industry first: Glamping at Sea. This once-in-a-lifetime camping experience on the top deck of the luxury yacht allows guests to dine, drink, and even sleep under one of the most spectacular night skies in the world.
Celebrity Flora will offer glamping for four passengers each night once the ship begins sailing the Galapagos in May 2019. The Glamping at Sea experience includes two luxurious cabanas – one for sleeping and one for eating – with cocktails, a gourmet meal al fresco, wine, and s’mores. Privacy will also be included – one glamping site will be starboard and one will be port.
A naturalist will also be available to provide stargazing guidance. At sunrise, a full breakfast will be served bedside.
The 100-passenger Celebrity Flora will sail two 7-night itineraries year-round from Baltra Island in the Galapagos, beginning in May 2019. Longer cruise tour packages will also be available, including a 10- and 11-night package that includes overnight stays in Quito, Ecuador, and a 16-night package that includes Lima, Machu Picchu, and the Sacred Valley.
