Magic Carpet – Dinner on the Edge
Celebrity Cruises has recently unveiled most of the dining options on its upcoming latest luxury ocean ship, Celebrity Edge.
In all, Celebrity Edge will offer 29 restaurants, cafes and bars – including four main dining restaurants, two Suite and AquaClass restaurants, seven new specialty restaurants, five complimentary dining options, and 11 bars and lounges.
Suite guests will have exclusive access to Luminae at the Retreat, the highest rated restaurant in Celebrity’s fleet. AquaClass guests will have exclusive access to Blu, featuring inventive, healthy cuisine and sustainable, biodynamic wines.

Main Dining Venues
A departure from Celebrity’s other ships is that instead of one main dining room, Celebrity Edge will have four main restaurants.
Cosmopolitan Restaurant
Tuscan will serve Italian cuisine inspired by southern Italian eateries and feature freshly made pastas prepared with a rustic flare.
Normandie will feature contemporary French cuisine and regional European wines in a modern, upscale space reminiscent of springtime in Paris.
Cyprus will highlight Celebrity’s Greek heritage with flavorful Mediterranean cuisine with a focus on seafood prepared in simple, clean dishes that reflect the region.
Cosmopolitan introduces creative new American cuisine with global influences, and features a walk-through wine display at the entrance.
Specialty Restaurants
One of the most intriguing concepts will be in Le Grand Bistro, which will use TableMation Studios’ digital-projection technology to turn the tabletop into a mini-theater. The star of the show will be Le Petit Chef, an animated 3-D character who uses creative and funny ways to assemble a digital meal on the diner’s plate. The digital meal is a preview of the actual food that will be served.
In addition to Le Grand Bistro, there will be six more specialty restaurants on Celebrity Edge:
Fine Cut Steakhouse – An upscale restaurant featuring choice cuts of meat and fresh, premium seafood.

Rooftop Garden Grill – Gourmet barbecue favorites are featured at this outdoor eatery on deck 15 where guests can enjoy lunch or dinner under the stars.
Eden Restaurant – Experiential dishes are the highlight here, with specialties inspired by nature prepared in an open air kitchen and delivered by performers known as Edenists.

Raw on 5 – A dramatic raw bar at the entrance features oysters, crab, and lobsters. The a la menu will feature casual offerings, including Celebrity’s signature Lobster Roll, and sushi and sashimi prepared by expert sushi chefs.
Magic Carpet – When the Magic Carpet is positioned on deck 5, it becomes a one-of-a-kind al fresco adventure, featuring favorites from Raw on 5 as well as its own unique menu.
Dinner on the Edge – When the Magic Carpet sits at the top of the ship, on special evenings, this al fresco dining experience will feature an extraordinary culinary journey.

Complimentary Dining
Complimentary dining will include two Celebrity favorites, the iconic Oceanview Café, featuring more live action stations, such as an Asian stir fry, and Mast Grill, offering burgers, salads and sandwiches poolside.
Three new offerings will make their debut on Celebrity Edge, including Eden Café, featuring casual gourmet bites in a relaxed setting surrounded by three stories of windows; Grand Plaza Café featuring eclectic and diverse dining; and Spa Café and Juice Bar which will serve up refreshing smoothies and nourishing salads.

Bars and Lounges
The 11 unique bars and lounges on board Celebrity Edge will give guests plenty of opportunities to pull up a chair and raise a glass.
Guests onboard Celebrity Edge will enjoy a wine list of 500 offerings (an increase from the roughly 350 offerings on other Celebrity ships). Celebrity has curated a new Ancient World wines list, which will include unique sourcing from destinations like Israel, Turkey, and China, as well as more obscure offerings from India and countries in Eastern Europe.
Bars and lounges to be featured on Celebrity Edge include: the new Eden Bar, featuring artisanal cocktails with hand-picked fresh ingredients; The Retreat Lounge and The Retreat Pool Bar, both exclusive for Suite Class guests; The Club, for dancing and partying into the wee hours; Café Al Bacio, the perfect place to linger over delicious specialty coffees and complimentary pastries; the Theater Bar, Casino Bar, and Pool Bar; and the Sunset Bar where you can enjoy spectacular views as you listen to live pop and folk music.
Celebrity Edge will spend her inaugural season (beginning in November 2018) sailing alternating seven-night eastern and western Caribbean itineraries. In 2019, she will sail the Mediterranean with a range of seven- to 11-night sailings from iconic cities like Barcelona and Rome.
