Itinerary at a Glance
DAY 1: Arrive in Louisville
Welcome to Louisville. In the evening, meet your Tour Director and traveling companions for a welcome drink.
DAY 2: Louisville – Lexington
Sightseeing with a Local Guide followed by lunch featuring a local culinary specialty. In Frankfort, enjoy a bourbon tasting at Buffalo Trace Distillery, with free time in Lexington this evening.
DAY 3: Lexington
This morning, visit to the International Museum of the Horse, followed by a behind-the-scenes visit to a thoroughbred horse farm and Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm. Dinner tonight with local bluegrass entertainment.
DAY 4: Lexington – Asheville
Scenic drive through Kentucky and Tennessee en route to Asheville. Free time in Asheville this evening.
DAY 5: Asheville
Guided sightseeing includes downtown, West Asheville, the River Arts District and Biltmore Village. Visit the Biltmore Estate and Gardens with a local guide, followed by a farm-to-table lunch at Antler Hill Village.
DAY 6: Asheville – Chattanooga
Scenic drive through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Visit the Museum of the Cherokee Indian with a Local Cherokee Guide. Drive to Chattanooga for a guided tour of the Songbird Guitar Museum, followed by a MoonPie tasting. Free time this evening.
DAY 7: Chattanooga – Nashville
Visit Cheekwood Gardens and a guided sightseeing tour of Nashville, followed by a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 8: Nashville
Your vacation ends with breakfast this morning.
