DAY 1: Arrive in Boston

Welcome to Boston! In the evening, meet your Tour Director and traveling companions for a welcome drink.

DAY 2: Boston

Visit Lexington Common National Historic Site, including Battle Green, the Minuteman Statue, and the historic Buckman Tavern. Enjoy a historic drive to Concord and visit the Old North Bridge followed by lunch at the historic Concord Colonial Inn. 

DAY 3: Boston – Portland

Sightseeing with a Local Guide in Salem, followed by a scenic drive along the coastline into Maine. Includes a stop at Cape Neddick’s Nubble Lighthouse en route to Portland. Orientation tour of Portland with a lighthouse-keeper presentation.

DAY 4: Portland – Jackson

Free time this morning before driving to Freeport. Orientation walk includes a regional treat tasting. Scenic drive through New Hampshire’s White Mountains to Jackson. 

DAY 5: Jackson – Ludlow

Scenic drive into the Green Mountains in Vermont. Visit a maple syrup farm for a local treat. Scenic drive to Ludlow with free time in the evening.

DAY 6: Ludlow – Lake Placid

Visit Shelburne Heritage Park followed by a wine tasting at Shelburne Vineyard. Board a ferry for a scenic crossing on Lake Champlain to New York. Continue to Lake Placid.

DAY 7: Lake Placid

Guided visits of the Olympic Museum, Olympic Center Ice Rink, and the Olympic Ski Jumping Complex. Free time this evening.

DAY 8: Lake Placid – Berkshires

Scenic drive through the Adirondack Mountains with a stop in Saratoga Springs en route to the Berkshire Mountains. Free time this evening.

DAY 9: Berkshires – Tarrytown

In the morning, enjoy a guided visit of Chesterwood Residence and Gardens. Continue through the Hudson Valley en route to West Point, followed by a tour of the West Point Military Academy with a Local Guide. Farewell dinner this evening. 

DAY 10: Tarrytown – New York City

Free time this morning before driving to the Newark International Airport. Schedule departing flights from Newark after 4 p.m.
