Crystal Introduces New Moselle River Cruises

Moselle River, GermanyIn May, Crystal River Cruises will begin sailing new Enchanting Moselle itineraries onboard Crystal Bach. The ten-night voyages sail roundtrip from Amsterdam and travel through Germany and the Netherlands, along one of the most breathtaking stretches of river in Europe.

The Enchanting Moselle itinerary includes five new ports of call, plus the opportunity to explore one of Europe’s most scenic regions. The Moselle is known for its steep hillside vineyards – the source of world-class Rieslings.

Guests will not only enjoy Rieslings, but discover vintages of the Mosel Wine Region in Bernkastel. Also included are visits to historic sites, such as the Roman ruins of Trier and the iconic Reichsburg Castle perched above Cochem.

Guests visit Bonn and Dusseldorf, new port of calls for Crystal Cruises. The former is the birthplace of Beethoven, while the latter is one of Germany’s cultural hubs. Overnights spent in Amsterdam and Trier afford ample time for longer sojourns, like a day trip to nearby Luxembourg, an in-depth exploration of Holland’s art and culinary scenes, and the war museums of Arnhem, Netherlands.
