St Patrick's Day Festival - Dublin Ireland

Everyone's Irish on St Patrick's Day, and where better to celebrate than in Ireland's capital with more than a million other green-donned revelers?  The weeklong festivities include musical and theater performances, carnivals, street artists, a treausre hunt, the St Patrick's Day Parade, and, of course, copius amounts of Guinness.

May thru July 2007
White Nights Festival - St Petersburg Russia

July 2007
Singapore Food Festival - Singapore

Enjoy culinary workshops, heritage food "trails" and more during one of the world's largest gastronomic celebrations.  Event details for 2007 are still being finalized, but 2006 highlights included the unique flavor of Singapore's Chinatown, a garden plaza featuring dishes made with floral and fauna elements and a chili crab gala complete with a crab dance and crab football game.

Moon Festival - Hong Kong PRC

During the Mid-Autumn Lantern (or Moon) Festival, which takes place after the Lunar New Year, Hong Kong's streets are ablaze with thousands of lanterns, while the spectracular Fire Dragon Parade is not to be missed.  Gaze at the moon at its fullest and fill yourself up with plenty of "moon" cakes.

Late-September - Mid-October, 2007
State Fair of Texas - Dallas, Texas

Since 1886, Dallas's Fair Park has been the site of the largest state fair in the United States, with more than 3.5 million people visiting during the 24-day event.  Highlights include an auto show, musicals, livestock auctions, a creative arts area, midway rides and games, food stands and other family fun.
