Singapore Food Festival - Singapore
Enjoy culinary workshops, heritage food "trails" and more during one of the world's largest gastronomic celebrations. Event details for 2007 are still being finalized, but 2006 highlights included the unique flavor of Singapore's Chinatown, a garden plaza featuring dishes made with floral and fauna elements and a chili crab gala complete with a crab dance and crab football game.

During the Mid-Autumn Lantern (or Moon) Festival, which takes place after the Lunar New Year, Hong Kong's streets are ablaze with thousands of lanterns, while the spectracular Fire Dragon Parade is not to be missed. Gaze at the moon at its fullest and fill yourself up with plenty of "moon" cakes.
