The Four Seasons Bangkok is well located in the embassy district of the city and very near the Sky Train system, an above ground mass transit system. Upon arrival at the hotel we were shown directly to our cabana suite overlooking the pool for private check in. Our friends, Mike and Tim, had arrived on Sunday so they had explored the neighborhood a bit. After some snacks at the Four Season's Executive Club lounge, we decided to find some dinner. We ended up at a nearby mall sharing traditional Thai food at Urban Kitchen.
After dinner we took the Sky Train to the Patpong area (which is loosely known as Bangkok's red light district) and explored the many cafes, bars, restaurants and the night market in this part of the city. On nearly every street corner hawkers selling "sex/porn DVDs" could be heard. Having started the day at 4:30, we returned to the hotel fairly early ready for a full night's sleep.
