One of the most talked about things on Celebrity Solstice is the abundance of dining options - there are 10 restaurants onboard! With the traditional offerings of the buffet (Oceanview Cafe and Grill) and the main dining room (Grand Epernay), 3 specialty restaurants (Tuscan Grill, Murano & Silk Harvest ), the exclusive AquaClass specialty restaurant, Blu, and 4 casual eateries (Cafe Al Bacio, AquaSpa Cafe, Mast Grill & Bistro on Five) plus 24 hour room service, you'll never go hungry.
Certainly one of the most photographed locations on Celebrity Solstice (besides the Lawn Club) is the Grand Epernay dining room. This beautiful, two story space can easily be described as simply stunning. Enter from the upper doors and your eyes will be drawn to the beautiful staircase that flows downward to the main level. From this main level, your be amazed at the showpiece two-story wine tower toward the rear of the room. Strong flowing lines, chandeliers and gorgeous ocean views highlight this room. Each table has several spotlights that originate from unseen positions in the ceiling which cause the tables to appear to hover in mid-air.
All of the specialty restaurants are located on the Entertainment Deck and accessed through the Ensemble Lounge. To the side of this lounge is Murano, a favorite continental-themed restaurant first introduced on Millennium class ships. Just through the Ensemble Lounge are the other 3 specialty restaurants. The Tuscan Grill occupies the far aft location, with beautiful floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ship's wake. This Italian-steakhouse themed restaurant serves items such as antipasto, pasta with Kobe beef meatballs, and of course steaks. Silk Harvest, offering an Asian-fusion menu, offers specialties from Thailand, Vietnam and India, plus sake, ginger-infused cocktails and Japanese beers. Directly across from Silk Harvest is Blu, exclusively available to AquaClass guests, and available on a space-available basis to other guests. Blu serves "clean cuisine" items such as herb-crusted lamb and roasted beet salad with goat cheese. Since AquaClass guests dine here nightly, the menu changes daily.
Crepes are the specialty at Bistro on Five. Salads, soups, Panini and deserts are also offered. Just across the open elevator lobby you'll find Cafe al Bacio. An updated version of the Millennium class Cova Cafe, Bacio serves up freshly brewed and specialty coffees, teas, pastries Italian ices and gelatos. Up on the Resort Deck, between the AquaSpa and the Solarium you'll find another favorite, the AquaSpa Cafe. Open for Breakfast and Lunch, the AquaSpa Cafe serves up some of the best "spa-cuisine" including fresh smoothies, crisp salads, lean meats and succulent seafood. The last, and certainly another favorite eatery on board is the Mast Grill. Located pool-side, this grill serves up casual foods such as burgers, tacos, pizza, fries and onion rings plus specialty beers such as Corona, Red Stripe and Heineken.
