Moving forward from the Lawn Club & Hot Glass Show and down a set of stairs you arrive on the Lido Deck, the "upper deck" surrounding the 2 outdoor pools and 4 hot tubs on
Celebrity Solstice. The canvas "sails" that surround the lounging beds around the pools extend above this deck and provide shaded areas overlooking the pools. Around the forward elevators, there is the traditional Mast Bar and Mast Grill serving burgers, tacos, pizza, fries, onion rings, and other casual fast food treats.
There is also a Pool Bar on the Resort Deck, the main pool deck. The large area around the pools incorporate beautiful padded loungers and unique two-person beds with canvas privacy screens along with a "wet zone" of dancing water and a small performance stage. It should also be noted that many of the ship's Sky Suite wheelchair accessible staterooms are located on the Resort Deck making it relatively easy to move between the Obervation Lounge, pool areas and staterooms without the need for the elevators. The highest aft (rear) Sky Suites are also located on the Resort Deck, providing the largest and most private of balconies for this class of stateroom on the
Celebrity Solstice.
Continuing forward on the Lido Deck, you arrive at the Sky Conference Center and the Observation Lounge. Another feature unique to
Celebrity Solstice, instead of burying the conference facilities down within lower decks, the Sky Conference Center on this upper deck, offering some of the best ocean views onboard. The remainder of the forward space is the Observation Lounge featuring a large bar, cozy seating areas, a band stage and dance floor. Combined with the conference center, the observation lounge is perfect for small or large gatherings, meetings, celebrations and parties.
Up one level, above the Observation Lounge is the "young-cruisers" area, comprised of X-Club for teenage guests and Fun Factory for pre-teens. Complete with video arcade, coffee lounge, computer games and an outdoor basketball court, these areas are sure to please the younger crowd. One additional level up, you'll reach the Solstice Deck, the highest point on the ship. Relax, find a quiet corner with a good book, catch up on your suntan, enjoy peaceful early morning yoga, or sip a nightcap under the stars - the single and two-person loungers on the Solstice Deck are here for your quiet, relaxed enjoyment.
