Azamara Club Cruises recently announced that it will begin offering cruises to Alaska, beginning in 2019. These voyages will provide all-access adventures to 11 ports along the coasts of Alaska.
Azamara’s five curated itineraries on 13 new voyages will create the perfect balance between cultural immersion and all-out adventure. Eight onshore excursions will bring guests closer to the snow-capped peaks and abundant waters of some of Alaska’s most exciting cities and landmarks.
Onshore Excursions
For those intrepid thrill-seekers, Azamara gives guests a chance to try out their mushing skills on dog-sledding adventures, or to discover the backroads of Alaska on a 15 mile bike ride from the summit of White Pass to the sea along the Klondike Highway.
Land and Sea Experiences
If guests wanting to extend their Alaskan adventure, Azamara has created immersive land programs, available either before or after the cruise. These fully escorted and inclusive Land and Sea Experiences will take guests into the interior via luxury motorcoach. A highlight is a ride on the Wilderness Express Train – the dome-topped rail cars offer stunning 360 degree views.
