Regent Seven Seas Announces 71 Night South American Cruise

Regent Seven Seas Cruises recently announced its 2016-17 Winter Collection, which will include a 71 night voyage around South America on the Seven Seas Mariner.

The cruise will depart from Miami on January 17, 2017, and make its way around South America for a complete circumnavigation of the continent.

Guests onboard the Seven Seas Mariner will visit many fascinating and unique ports of call and spend 22 days at sea, allowing for ample time to enjoy the luxurious amenities available on the 700-passenger ship.

Oranjestad, Aruba

The South America cruise begins with visits to the Caribbean islands of St. Barts, Martinique, and Aruba. The cruise will visit  Cartagena, Columbia before transiting the Panama Canal to the Pacific Ocean.

Highlights include a visit to Machu Picchu in Peru and multiple stops in picturesque Chili, before turning around at the base of the continent.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

During the journey north on the Atlantic Ocean, passengers will visit unique and beautiful cities like Stanley in the Falkland Islands, Buenos Aires in Argentina, and Rio de Janeiro and Recife in Brazil.

After cruising the Amazon River, passengers will visit the famous Devil’s Island in French Guiana.

The cruise will finish with stops in the Caribbean islands of Barbados, St. Lucia, and Puerto Rico, before arriving back in Miami on March 29, 2017.
