Today we're at sea enroute to Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands. Last night we enjoyed the 2nd of 4 production shows onboard. Last Tuesday we saw Curtain Call. Last night was Standing Room Only, based on popular Broadway and West-End shows, the show highlights songs and dance numbers from everyone's favorite Broadway and West-End shows such as Wicked, The Producers, Jesus Christ Superstar and others. Two further shows are planned, My Favorite Things featuring over 45 songs from Rogers and Hammerstein. The last and newest show, Across the Pond bursts with hits from British shows.

For these shows the lead female vocalist is Tara Khaler hailing from Dallas, Texas. John Ellis, the lead male vocalist has spent time in London, New York and Los Angeles. The line captain for the team of guys is Shane Morley who hails from Perth, Western Australia. Included in his team is Boris Navakov from Samara, Russia; Peter Fedorovskiy also from Russia, in Siberia; and Matthew Simpson from Norwich, England. For the girls group, Laura Murray from London is the line captain, along with Kaira Gregory from Sydney, Australia; Jade McFadden also from Sydney and Anastasia Rzhravina from Moscow, Russia.

This very talented group of singers and dancers does an excellent job with production shows onboard the Crystal Serenity. Having had the opportunity to see shows on all-sized ships, from the huge productions onboard the Oasis and Allure, to smaller productions onboard Azamara ships, it's our option that Crystal provides some of the best shows at seas. From the orchestra, to the amazing costumes and sets - these shows are top notch. If you enjoy big Broadway-style production shows, you'll love them onboard a Crystal cruise ship.
