The Royal Promenade is a good neighborhood to start in, since each guest first enters through the Promenade on Deck Five. First introduced on Vision class ships, the Royal Promenade is also standard on Freedom class vessels. On the Oasis, the Royal Promenade runs from forward to aft elevators connecting to the top level of the Opal Theatre in the front of the ship and the top level of the Opus Dining Room in the rear of the ship. And, of course it's longer, wider and taller than on other ships.
Returning from "appearances" on other ships are:
Bolero - the Latin infused dance club is a great place to cool off with a tasty Mojito. Directly across from Bolero is the On Air Club, by day a fun Sports Club with big screens - by night, the hottest onboard karaoke bar on the Promenade. In the middle of the Promenade you'll find Sorrento's Pizzeria, the place to be when you are craving pizza. Across the Promenade is the traditional English Pub, Globe and Atlas. The decor at the Globe & Atlas is authentic, too bad the beer isn't -standard drafts and imports only I'm afraid. Between the pub and Guest Services is Cafe Promenade, great breakfast snacks and Seattle's Best Coffee. Finally, next to the aft elevator lobby is the Champagne Bar , a quiet escape for some of your favorite bubbly.
Shopping along the Promenade include: The Shop, Solera, Port Merchants, Prince & Green, Willow and Regalia - offering everything from designer watches, fragrances, apparel, liquor, tobacco and of course fine jewelry.
On the mezzanine, near the aft elevators you'll find the RCCL favorite Schooner Bar. There's no where better along the Promenade for people watching, and relaxing in this nautical-themed lounge.
New offerings on the Oasis Promenade include:
Mondo Coffee Bar, between Bolero and the On Air Club, serving up everything from iced coffee drinks to expresso and the much discussed Rising Tide Bar. Jump on this moving bar as it slowly glides between the Promenade and Central Park while you enjoy your favorite beverage.
