Puerto Egas Highlights:
Puerto (Port) Egas on San Salvador Island, also called James or Santiago Island, offers the most popular walk along James Bay on a black-sand beach.  On the trail, look for oystercatchers, marine iguanas, sandpipers, Galapagos hawks, Sally lightfoot crabs, and Galapagos and fur sea lions.  Excursion options include a high-intensity "Survival of the Fittest" hike with swimming/snorkeling at the beach, a high-intensity coastal walk followed by swimming/snorkeling, and a low-intensity animal observation followed by beach relaxation.
