Cruise Lines: Updated Cancellation Policies

Updated December 10, 2020.

In light of COVID-19 and uncertainties around travel, our cruise line partners are fully focused on protecting the health and safety of guests and crew. With that in mind, they have voluntarily suspended all cruises in the immediate near future. Click on the links below or contact us directly to learn more about each cruise line’s cancellation policies.

Cruise lines are offering guests full refunds or Future Cruise Credits – in most cases up to 125% of the cruise fare – on cruises they have cancelled. They have also implemented exceptions to cancellation policies for existing and future reservations on cruises that guests cancel. Depending on the cancellation timeframe, once paid in full, guests will receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit.

Cruise line cancellation policies are changing rapidly. We have provided links to the most current policies on many of the cruise lines below. For the others, please contact us for the current policies. As well, if your cruise line is not listed, please contact us to get up-to-date information.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Have cruise lines suspended operations?

A: Our cruise line partners have voluntarily suspended operations for sailings worldwide. Each cruise line has determined when they will resume operations. Click on the links below to find out when each cruise line currently plans to begin sailing.

Q: What happens if my cruise has been cancelled by the cruise line?

A: Guests who have reservations on a cruise suspended by the cruise line will receive a Future Cruise Credit, in many cases equal to 125% of the cruise fare amount that has already been paid, or a 100% refund.

Q: What happens if I have booked a cruise and I want to cancel?

A: If you are already booked on a cruise, we suggest you wait until one of these options becomes available:

1) The cruise line extends their service suspension and provides up to a 125% Future Cruise Credit, or
2) If the cruise line doesn’t cancel your cruise, you can cancel up to 48 hours before departure (depending on departure date) and receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit.

Without these options, you may be subject to standard cancellation penalties

Q: Can I rebook now for a future sailing I want to take?

A: Yes, once your Future Cruise Credit has been processed, it can be applied to your new reservation. If the cruise fare on the new booking exceeds the Future Cruise Credit value, you will be responsible for the difference.

Q: What health and safety procedures have been implemented by cruise lines?

A: Our cruise partners have intensified their already comprehensive and stringent health and safety protocols and are in contact with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
