Azamara Club Cruises recently announced exciting new cruise and train packages, part of their Land and Sea Program. These pre- and post-cruise packages combine the elegance of train travel with a luxury cruise.
In partnership with Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and designed to take guests deeper into European locales, the Land and Sea Train Packages combine luxury train, hotel and cruise travel.
Onboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
The legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express is one of the world’s most famous luxury trains and hearkens back to the golden age of train travel. The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express is a work of art in itself, combining a sense of style with adventure.
Starting in 2018, the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express will offer three and four night packages to Azamara Club Cruises’ guests. Passengers will stay in delightful private cabins on board vintage 1920s train carriages.
Classic French cuisine and lively onboard entertainment round out one of the world’s finest travel experiences.
Cruise and Train Vacation Packages
London to Venice Pre-Cruise
A classic voyage offers new adventures on this luxurious overnight trip to Venice. Boarding the train in London Victoria Station, sip a Bellini as the train travels the verdant Kent countryside aboard the Belmond British Pullman.
Guests will then cross the English Channel via the Eurotunnel before boarding the Venice-Simplon-Orient-Simplon. Following a continental breakfast, guests will enjoy the breathtaking Gotthard Pass and Swiss Lakes.
The next day, guests will enjoy a three-course lunch before traveling through stunning scenery as the train passes through the Dolomites, quaint towns and mountainside vineyards. Guests depart the train in Venice to stay in the luxury Hotel Monaco before a European cruise.

Venice to London Post-Cruise
After spending an evening at the Hotel Monaco in Venice following their cruise, guests are welcomed aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient Express. Savor a three-course lunch and then relax as the train passes through the Italian Dolomites. Awaken in Paris to a magnificent continental breakfast.
travel on towards the French coast for the Channel crossing where guests will board the Belmond British Pullman and enjoy a traditional afternoon tea as they journey to London.

Additional Land and Sea Packages
In addition to the Europe tours, guests on an Azamara Alaska cruise can add on a Land and Sea Package that includes a ride on the Wilderness Express train. Sitting in glass-domed rail cars, guests will have 360-degree views of the untouched beauty of the Alaskan wild as they travel by glaciers, fjords and scenery not otherwise visible.
In 2019, the program expands further with the option for guests to explore Canada via The Canadian Rocky Mountaineer train.
